Hello, I have done a very similar project for tracing java microservices with opentelemetry and checking the traces in grafana cloud. I have also observed the metrics of the eks cluster using grafana cloud recently. 1. That depends upon how you are interacting with the microservices. You create the spans for the traces. opentelemetry java instrumentation provides an out of the box solution. 2. Grafana cloud is observability as a SAAS solution. It help with prometheus metrics, Loki logs etc. This project is very exciting please assign this to me.
