VLC Plug-In

To create a program that can communicate with a plugin that captures the current time of the video and/or audio file playing within the open source VLC player and receives it as a timestamp.

This project is designed to be a toy project that has to show the technology of how certain additional data from a Video/audio file (played within VLC) are extracted and then communicate via a VLC plug-in to an external program using an Inter-Process Communication to the external program.

These additional data we want to get as well (i.e. plug-in should detect which video is being played)

* File name

* Location of the file

* Title of the file

* Total plying time of the file

Furthermore, we want to use this plug-in to use a time-stamp record to have Video started at that time and optionally a time-value where the video has to stops
