That application has similar requirement that data should be stored OFFLINE and when internet comes to gets sync to the server because on ships the internet is only when they are at ports. I can help you in architecture as well as can develop the solution in .Net for you. I have few question for you which will help me in determining more robust solution for this. 1) What architecture stack is the online system? Like .Net, PHP Java etc. 2) What would the data load on the offline system? Is it a few forms or a complete application with multiple forms, reports workflow etc. 3) What would be internet speed once the internet is there?
