Hi! Basically, someone needs to upsize the database from Access to SQL Server. It can be a simple thing to do, or very tricky, it all depends on the queries (queries itself, as form and report source). Sometimes stored procedures must be written so we utilize the server to execute the query on the server side rather on the client side. The question is when I (or someone else) create an SQL database and send it to you as a backup, are you having someone there to restore it and make it work? To set up SQL Server? The second question is - where will you have SQL Server running, on your local network? The final question is - can you share your database and Access frontend with me before accepting my offer? Hello Sir, I see the project posting and I can understand your concern. Its usually because we don't see the overall scope of the project and end up finding for a cheap and quick solution. Access does not support a large database (I mean you find it difficult to deal with). I am an expert with MSAccess and SQL and I would like to discuss this project with. Que tal buen día, mi nombre es Erik Samuel Hernández Pontigo y tengo experiencia con diferentes Bases de Datos. Sobre tu proyecto sin problemas te ayudo a pasar la información de Access a SQL y verificar que todo funcione bien. No sé que versión de SQL server tengas pero te recomiendo no utilizar la express por la limitación de 10gb por Base de Datos lo cual si la tuya crece mucho tendrás el problema de que se llegará el tiempo y no podrás guardar nada más. Igual verificaria tus consultas para optimizar lo más que se pueda. Saludos, quedó al pendiente por cualquier detalle.
