I am looking to create a program that will open a cash drawer (through printer) allow a user to input the counts of the bills, and coins. IE $100s there is 1, $50s there are 0, $20s there are 15, $10s there are 10 etc. Then total the amount.
Next I would like it to allow me to put a Leave amount in the drawer. For example I would like them to leave $400, but it would It would then tell the employee to remove and deposit amount of each denomination to get to $400. For example if we have $550.38, the deposit would be $150.38, using the numbers from above, it would tell them to deposit 1 $100s, 2 $20s, etc, using the largest possible denomination based upon what is available to deposit.
Once this is all done, it ask them to type their name and verify the count. Last it would allow them to print a receipt with all the information to put it with the drop.
This program I would like it to also have the option to do the same thing for opening, except it would just do the count, put in their name, and print the receipt. We would not have any deposit being made, a simple count.
It would be even better if all the historical information was saved in a database, so I could access and pull the information if necessary.
