I work for an electricity trading company. We make lots of trades each hour of each day. Multiple traders submit bids and offers into the database. The central electricity organization then awards these bids and offers in aggregate. So using the pricing with our bids and offers, we need a way to allocate these aggregated awards to the trades that cleared.
Complicating matters is that sometimes the awards do not always match what would make sense based on our bids and offers pricing. So we need a way to allocate these non-standard awards.
We have a PostgreSQL database. The attached files give the table structures and a document with further background and the non-standard scenario examples.
There are also some excel files with actual data.
