Currently working as a mechanical design engineer, I work on several projects at a time working towards tight deadlines by using my excellent organising skills. My experiences within a professional work environment have ensured I have the skill set to face any task. My current role at Energyline entails designing new structures as well as running analysis to identify defects and improvement areas. Another part of my role has been to design new products, most recently being a torsion testing machine. Working with a team of engineers to conduct a variety of tasks including designing new structures and running load and strength analysis. My duties also included managing the workload of several projects which required a vast amount of planning, organisation and time keeping as well as great communication skills. Taking initiative with projects and going onsite to conduct tests was a huge part of my role at Energyline. During my time at Energyline I have been a part of several multimillion-pound projects. One of these projects was non-intrusive foundation testing; my role in this project included but was not limited to, organising the work for site staff to conduct testing on pylons, producing invoicing, taking a leading role in data management, using computer software’s to gain an understanding of the tower foundation conditions and writing up the reports to inform clients on my recommendations. I have a thorougher knowledge on understanding a scope of works & producing CAD work.
