Hi there, i am a researcher who has extensive experience of media marketing and market research. I am a native Chinese who had been working at an international language centre and is familiar with the English tutoring market.
I would like to strategically propose to you about the project with a few main points:
a) there are a few large English tutoring agencies who have prevailed in China and built reputation among thousands of parents and students. They all own a big name in specified markets such as studying abroad or business communication. As Liulingo provides plural English services, i believe it is also important for Liulingo to target one or two specific markets (kids, high school students or university students) and spot their needs. For example, 8-class/16 class IELTS speaking pre-exam.
b) we need events (material or virtual) brand promotion. For example, limited offer of free enrolment in classes; reward on referring behaviours; developing marketing contents that carries insights and instructions on English learning and culture.
c) i also notice that the some of the instructors are with a university degree or specializations. Why not advertise them more as a mentor on academic, career or life mentor than merely a language tutor? According to research, part of reason that parents choose English services is to familiarize their kids with English culture and gain some cross-cultural literacy.
