I am a Brazilian and, therefore, a native Portuguese speaker. In 2014 I got my degree in Translation Studies at Universidade Católica de Santos, one of the few universities in Brazil that offers the course. I also have experience with blog and even a little bit of HTML, since I've worked as both an administrator and writer on a few blogs between the years of 2011-2016. In 2015 I made some subtitles for Tedx videos (via Amara platform) and, for the last few years, I've been working as a ghostwriter for some small authors who self-publish on Amazon BR. The projects I take become my priority and I'll give it my full attention and finish it as soon as possible. While working, and even after finishing it, I'll be available for further contact, if it's needed for the project. I have voluntarily helped the Project Gutemberg library, helping them to deliver some proofreaded literature's classics both in English and Portuguese. Aside from being a proofreader of classics, I am too a translator and revisor of more recent books, and have one translation (House of Cards, by W. J. May) already published under my name. I am a translator and transcriptor of Netflix through their translation platform, Hermes, where I started working this year. I am also currently working as a volunteer transcriptor and subtitle translator of TED's subtitling platform, Amara. Finally, I am working as a translator in one book and revisor of another one in the online translation platform, Babelcube. I am a student of Portuguese Language and also a translation enthusiastic, and my aim is to bring quality translations that fits into any genre, no matter how classical or recent it is. I have near 20 years of experience in programming, and I work with .Net technologies since the launch. I work as foundation member on Freelancer.com since previous vWorker and RentACoder websites. My skills are included the .Net stack. I develop for desktop using C#, WPF (MVVM) and Entity Framework. I work with all kinds of databases, and I did a lot of "database-agnostic" development, with software that needs work with ANY database. In web, I work with ASP.Net MVC and API (but I did work much time with WebForms too) + Bootstrap + Knockout.
