Dit white paper is gericht op B2B sales mensen in de FMCG/CPG retail industrie. Het legt uit hoe schappenplannen een waardevolle ondersteuning kunnen zijn bij hun verkoopactiviteiten. Achtergrond informatie qua terminologie, vakgebied en bedrijf/producten is beschikbaar in het Engels en het Nederlands via websites ([login to view URL] en [login to view URL]) als ook via diverse andere white papers op de Retail Shelf Planner website die ik zelf al vertaald heb, of origineel in het Nederlands geschreven en later in het Engels vertaald. Ik schrijf de white papers tegenwoordig meestal in het Engels, zodat ze direct internationaal gebruikt kunnen worden, maar heb steeds minder tijd om daarna ook de vertaling te doen voor de Nederlandse markt. De twee keer dat ik vertalingen door "non-professionals" heb uitgeprobeerd, was ik niet blij met het resultaat en heb uiteindelijk hun werk weggegooid en het zelf gedaan. Vandaar dat ik het met dit white paper nu hier eens wil proberen. Zie het bijgevoegde document waar het om gaat. De eerste twee en laatste twee pagina's hoeven niet vertaald te worden. Bij de vertaling hoeft geen rekening gehouden te worden met opmaak. Indien wenselijk kan het document ook in Word formaat beschikbaar gesteld worden. Er is geen hoge urgentie, dus de doorlooptijd is flexibel. Bij een succesvolle afronding van het project is er een goede kans op vervolgprojecten. (Hoewel ik het laatste jaar weinig gedaan heb, kan je zien in mijn historische opdrachten dat ik bij bewezen geschiktheid steeds terug ging naar dezelfde personen. Vanavond bijvoorbeeld gesproken met Peter, aka PSbusinesstalent of AVALON Linguistic Support, over nieuwe projecten voor vertalingen naar het Duits.)

Hoi Erwin, De vertaling op zich is geen probleem, hoewel mijn rates waarschijnlijk wat hoger liggen dan die van de meeste "freelancers" hier. Over mij: - Ik ben volledig vloeiend zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels (dubbele UK/NL nationaliteit en ben in Nederland opgegroeid.) - Nederlandstalige universitaire achtergrond (Amsterdam en Leiden.) - Ik ben al meer dan 10 jaar actief als freelance vertaler. Mijn specialisatie is Japans - Engels (ik woon since 2004 in Japan) maar Engels - Nederlands is uiteraard ook geen probleem. Laat me gerust weten mocht je vragen hebben! James
