I am an 20 year old writer and an author of a book called “I Am & You Are I” and I want to turn it into a film. I am looking for a sponsorship to sponsor a film that will be distributed in Africa and on Netflix. I am currently in the process of finishing the book and the script. The book is only on Sweek and is an electronic book. Im not sure of how long the film will be but Im looking to keep it to a length of 1 hour and 30 mins. I will do most of the work on finding the Actors and getting the costumes sorted and the body paint. The percentage Im willing to do is the Videographer/film maker takes 70% and Ill take 30%. The film is based on two couple who fell in love and became generals of the Mali empire. The story is based in Ancient Mali and Liberia. Im willing to put in $2,500. Thats my budget but please keep in Mind that Your Company will take 70% Profit Of income that is why I wont be able to pay full price how much this will all cost. The filmmakers only job to do is record but if you are willing to add in other services that will be truly appreciated is a great way to get your brand out there. Hi there, I'm a native French translator, and thought that since your book takes place in francophone Africa, at least in part, you'd double your likelihood of sponsorship if you had it translated into French - you could also pitch it to francophones, from France to Canada to, actually, francophone Africa.
