Post-Production Video Editor: Short-form Chef Interview Video

What we’re looking for: We’re looking for a talented short-form video editor who will be able to sort through a selection of raw video clips, select the best clips to create an interesting and engaging video, and then edit the clips together (with audio and voiceover) to create a finished 60-second video concept. Background information: This video series is focused on an interview with a chef, so many of the clips may need to be slowed down to emphasize the fast-paced actions that are happening while he is working in the kitchen. Our video editor will need to have a keen eye and be able to decide which clips should be kept at full speed and which should be slowed down. It will be the video editor's responsibility to find and use segments of footage that remain in focus and are not shaky. The majority of the video will be made up of quick clips of the chef preparing or plating his dishes, except for 1-2 clips from the actual interview, and our ideal video editor will be able to decide how to smoothly cut up and use the audio from his interview as a voiceover for the duration of the video. This includes laying applicable portions of the interview audio over coordinating b-roll.
