We are seeking a security expert to find vulnerabilities and give advice/guidance to our developers in resolving any security issues with our current site. This is not a programming position. The successful candidate will be used on an "as needed" basis. Tasks involve - Analysis of current site vulnerabilities - Identification of XSS and Injection issues. - Provide guidance to programming staff and management regarding "best practice" security solutions. You must have a good level of written English and be available for periodic online meetings between the hours of 8:00 to 18:00 EST. Though most of your work can be completed at any time that suits you. The site is currently written in PHP with MySQL as the backend. Please include your hourly billing rate as a guide. When responding please include the words 'Security Expert' at the top of your posting. Responses without 'Security Expert' at the top will be ignored. Responses from agencies/companies will also be deleted. Ideal would be if you are either a freelancer or have some time spare to earn extra cash after your regular working hours. Please ensure that you provide samples of your work. Ideal will be if we can email/talk with a couple of your referees once we are prepared to move forward.
