ONLINE PROJECT MANAGEMENT WEBSITE Description I am looking to hire a contractor to do the programming for a dynamic website. The website is to be a secure, online, collaborative, project management database system. It will need to manage up to 5,000 projects and up to 50 users in 8 categories (however having a larger limit on the amount of projects/users would be a bonus). Each project will have two PDF attached to it of up to 1MB. Interface The user interface is to resemble the backend of a Wordpress site. For instance it will have a dashboard showing the status of projects, (‘projects’ instead of ‘posts’), it will have libraries of relevant data to the projects. It will *not* generate websites like a Wordpress site. Users will also be able to search for and download data and generate new projects. User Levels/Permissions 1. Administrators can submit new projects and edit their project - this forms the basis of the project brief. 2. Managers can approve projects, specify which contributors to use, publish projects to contributors. Managers sign off final edited projects (for publication), they also have administrator and contributor permissions and can look into and edit any of their live projects. Managers will be able to add users and generate permissions. 3. Copy Contributors can upload specified content and read specified content 4. Technical Contributors can upload specified content and read specified content 5. IT Contributors can upload specified content and read specified content 6. Design Contributors can upload specified content and read specified content 7. Copy Editors can review copy content, make amendments and sign off copy content 8. Design Editors can review design content, make amendments and sign off design content Email Notifications At specified stages of the project development, auto email notifications will be sent from the website to contributors/editors/managers/administrators of the project, email notifications will contain links to their live project. Content of program All fields and layout of the website will be supplied to you. Correspondence Contractors must be prepared to Skype/messenger on a regular basis for updates and discussions. -------------------------------------------------- Terms All rights of the program/software will belong to us and we must be supplied with instruction that another professional can follow on how we edit the programming/software (future protection in case you become unavailable to us). You must supply us with the final full program so we can upload it onto our servers. You must supply support should the software fail. You must be ready to start at the end of September (once our content development is completed).
