I am building a web app called Mediapress [login to view URL]
You must have experience with Node.js, MEAN is perfect.
The app is a cloud-based platform that allows users to create high-quality video presentations. Users can create video presentations with animated charts, icons, transitions, text, etc. We are currently trying to build our MVP before the end of 2018.
Imagine PowerPoint, but instead of a slideshow, users can create a video.

Until now it has been me (UX designer) and the lead developer, but the developer is stepping away from the project for a while for family commitments.
You would take over all development (back end and front end) for this project, and you would be the only developer.

I have attached a diagram of the current stack.
We are in the early stages, we have a nice user interface with basic project creation and editing, but there is a lot of work to be done to develop the editing features, playback, slide transitions, animated charts and more.
Would love to hear your thoughts, I'm looking for someone to lead the developer for the long-term (1 - 2 years, of 40+ hours per week) that is easy going and can enjoy the project as it's quite complex :-)
I have a basic spec/roadmap in place with a lot of user stories and features yet to be developed. It would be good to for us to chat further if you are interested in a long-term project, and I can explain the project in more details, give you logins to check out the staging platform and provide you with git access for you to review the codebase.
This project is complex and requires experimental and custom approaches to solve problems, and will be a challenge, but if you are confident that you can work as the sole developer, I would love to speak with you :-)
