Architectural Assistant - CAD/CAM Designer

I hold a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Architecture. I enjoy drawing by hand but I am also articulate in CAD as it enables the manufacturing of components and prototypes. I have worked with a variety of manufacturing techniques such as 3d printing, CNC milling, Lathe machining and aware of the standard manufacturing procedures. I am able to generate tool paths (CAD/CAM programming). I am competent in digital modelling and able to achieve complex geometry using Autodesk Fusion 360, a CAD/CAM software I have been using for more than three years. Autodesk Maya is my preferred software for animation and rendering - while mounting Pixar's "Renderman" as the engine.

CAD design for sunglasses

Fantastic experience with Demetris. Above expectations. Firstly he provided a thoughtful response to the project posted, showing he understood the brief, better than other responses. After a quick discussion about the scope he got to work quickly for the initial prototype, and was able to introduce ideas that I had not thought of and benefited the end result. Very accessible over email/skype and the end result above expectations, especially his architectural knowledge added a design aspect that other freelancers didn't have. I have no hesitation to recommend Demetris to others for CAD work that requires some artistic flair.
