The South African Art Collection
Requirements:
We are a tourist focused art gallery located in Cape Town, South Africa. As our name suggests, we focus on selling South African Art, catering to the tourist market in South Africa. We require new branding for our gallery using the name above. We want the new logo/name to be distinctly South African and pulling in elements of Africa/Cape Town. It must appeal to the tourist visiting South Africa and be very identifiable as South African. Something that would appeal to a tourist visiting the country.
We cater to upmarket, wealthy tourists, so the new brand/logo needs to be upmarket and distinctive with a slant towards art/gallery.
It is a long name, but we need to keep the full name. We need to be able to use the new logo on signage for the gallery as well as on letterheads / bags and other branding – so we require two versions of the same logo:
1) A long rectangular logo (to go on a long sign on the premises / on a letterhead).
2) A more square logo (to go on a bag)
We are not looking for a generic logo – it must be unique.
