For the contest we need just a few screens to see if we like the design idea, all the screens will be required only from the winning participant

We need a UI / visual design for both mobile and web interfaces for an app that will be directed to people chartering and sailing yachts. The aplication will have following functionalities / screens.

Cruises
- My Cruises - cruises that a user created / was invited to
- create new
- select Sailing or Motor
- select Monohull, Catamaran, Trimaran
- select capacity (max # of people onboard
- configure the cruise ( i.e. if captain and crew participate in box money split)
- search for a cruise

checkin (belongs to a given cruise)
- checklist
- photo documentation of any damage
damage report (belongs to a given cruise)
- description
- photo documentation of damage
checkout (belongs to a given cruise)
- checklist
- hoto documentation of additional damage

Crew list (belongs to a given cruise)
- Username / email (if exists in the system) if not - invite to app
- First Name (taken from user profile)
- Last Name (taken from user profile)
- Phone number (taken from user profile)
- Sailing credentials - list (+photos) (taken from user profile)
- Email (taken from user profile)
- Role on board (Captain, Officer, Steward/Stewardess, Cook, Deckhand, Crew, Passenger)
- Travel document # (taken from user profile)
- Offer place on board / Look for crew
Messaging
- One to One (system wide)
- One to the whole Crew on the Cruise
- Cruise group chat

Photos (belongs to a given cruise)
- Make photos and videos and create a common gallery for all the members of the cruise

Box Money
- Log the box money state
- Log expenses (with photos to log bills)
- Show split (how it is split between crew members)

Charter
- Charter a boat ( not working now, just for a main menu /screen desigh)

Insurance
- Insure a boat or a cruise / crew ( not working now, just for a main menu /screen desigh)

Log
- Log the track sailed during the cruise

Recommendations
- Recommended restaurants
- Destinations (where to go next)

So just to be sure. The functionality of this app would be similar to turo? Turo is an app where drivers give their cars up for rent and users who use the cars leave reviews and feedback. So for your app the captains will be able to see reviews of other captains and crew members before he decides to take it on sail?

  no. this is more like the app to check the technical wellbeing of the yacht that you charter (not everyone is an expert on what they should check, and what kind of damage is safe, what is not) + a tool for all people onboard to communicate easily.

#guaranteed otherwise no good designs. If you make it guaranteed, i am sure you will get lot's of good designs to choose from otherwise you will just waste your time. Sometimes, non-guaranteed contests get deleted and CH steals the work. If we are working hard, we need to make sure that we get the reward at the end. So, please make it guaranteed. There are a lot of good UI designers here and you will get good results. Thanks

  There is something called "copyright law" for people that steal, works pretty well.
  You may see that in other contests when we got satisfactionary quality submissions we qugraded to guaranteed. I don't expect all screens as an initial submission, just enough to see the style. Only the winner will need to prepare all the screens, this saves the work of the designer and ensures he/she gets paid for their work.

Also the brief sounds more like a functional/technical spec as against a design brief. Might consider re-wording the brief to give to give more clarity to design requirements.
