Company concept:
It was homebrewing that was the catalyst for the Craft beer explosion in the United States. Bringing the heart and soul of the California central coast to the final frontier of the craft beer world- Tokyo is the new communal Brewery project

We look to bring brewers of the world together with other creators in different industries to build a community that will bring the “3rd wave” of beer to Japan.

Our internal company moto is: “United we brew, Divided we perish”

There is of course no need to have brewing experience to work together with us. With Homebrewing being illegal in Japan, this is a place to experience the true fun of brewing together. The brewery itself is similar to a cooking school, we can guide you through the basics so your creativity can shine.

Guiding the process is Tokyo Alework’s Brewing Choreographer Bob Stockwell, who is in charge of helping the creative people of the world find new and dynamic, and fun dimensions of beer!
We don’t believe in the concept of having a “Head Brewer” for our beers. When you brew with us, you are the Head Brewer!
