We are creating a customized notebook for our company’s holiday present.

SIZE/LAYOUT
The full notebook cover is 10.39" x 7.6" which includes the front, spine and back (see attached .jpg) On the front will be the title/caption and the most important aspect of the design but then the rest of the design should continue around to the back of the book. The spine should repeat the title/caption.

BRAND/DESIGN
Our brand colors are attached as are our logo, and abstract element, and a flyer example to give you as sense of our design elements. This should incorporate colors/design elements but be less serious. Our fonts are Calibri and Adelle.

STYLE
Simple/charming/fun but usable in a professional setting—maybe a bit like anime?

DELIVERY FORMAT
Any Adobe file is fine, done in layers if needed so our team can manipulate any last minute changes.

ADDITIONAL WORK
If your design is selected, we may ask you to do one or both of the other designs (we will pay $100 each). We may also ask you to do a holiday card based on one of your designs @ $50.

YOUR ILLUSTRATION
Please pick ONE of the following three to illustrate.

1. A list of people who didn’t listen to me and how that worked out for them

For this one, we imagine a bunch of things happening to people—alien abduction, falling into a manhole, being eaten by a monster, etc—happening in the background. In the foreground a person shrugging. Similar to the idea (but illustrated) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. No identifiable location.

Concept: We want to convey—in a fun way—that the advice is good! You should listen.

2. A (very short) list of things that could be worse

Similar to above but this one takes place on a college campus. Things like a professor being beamed up by a spaceship, a student being eaten by a monster, Godzilla or similar monster squashing buildings, etc.

Concept: We want to convey—in a fun way—the idea that as bad as things get, they could always be worse.

3. Stuff that happened on campus that you just can’t make up

This one also takes place on a college campus. There is a sign pointing to “The Quad.” On this sign there is a handmade taped on sign that say, “This way to the wild rumpus!” There is a line of monsters heading that way causing minor chaos (eating a nearby sign, swinging from a building, gnawing down a tree, etc.) as they go. Typical university building in the background.

Concept: We want to convey the idea that you can never predict the crazy things that have happened/will happen on a university campus in a fun way.
