  Looking at your website, I found some usability issues and with this task we can minimize it at some level. Showing legends is not a big deal, what exactly required is the use-cases focusing around it i.e. filters in this case.Here are the few points of consideration: 1. Filters UI should be as simple as Google home page. 2. There are large number of filters . 3. While applying the filter user currently blocked with the action on map (should not be) 4. Filter are grouped by types. 5. There should be less number of click (showing popup on the screen is not at all a good idea as it blocks the screen and increase user click). 6. There should be a search on the filters. 7. Should be able to reset filters. There are few more points which apply to your site which we can discuss later. Please find the attached screenshot. I have a working copy for the same . Note: Technology used ( AngularJS, Google design principles, Google Materialized CSS, jQuery)

     Thanks for the detailed thoughts. For now we wanted a simple legend. However, we are looking into a more elaborate design in the near future. We will contact you if we need more assistance then.
