Logo for an established local golf company named "PowerGolf Hawaii".

The business has three units:
- Pro Shop - a retail store and Hawaii distribution of full range of golf equipment and accessories
- Golf club fitting and repair
- Golf lessons

BUSINESS NAME
“PowerGolf” is spelled as one word. The client doesn’t have preference whether to use UPPERCASE or just Capitalized. “Hawaii” can be set by the same font as “PowerGolf” or different.

SYMBOL:
The logo should communicate the connection to Hawaii with a picture symbol. Here are some ideas – wave(s), hibiscus flower, or the chain of Hawaiian Islands, for example like old Hawaiian Electric Company. The chain of islands can be simplified like in the case of Hawaiian Telcom logo. This is important: Please don’t use clipart or graphic elements that can be downloaded from sites like freepik.

COLORS
The clients doesn’t have set preference regarding specific colors, but the company leans towards dark greens accented by gold, black, white, or dark blue.

LOGO VARIATIONS
We need the primary logo to fit into a horizontal rectangle 4:1 or 3:1 to be easily used as a logo on a website. We will also need a version for vertical use, but this doesn’t need be done now. We will contact the best standing artist for the vertical version before the contest concludes.

FEEDBACK
We’ll do our best to provide feedback as soon as we can, within a day. Shortlisted candidates will receive additional feedback helping to get as close as possible to the client’s vision.
