After two years, my novel has come back to me from the publisher so that I can continue to sell the book via Amazon, B&N, BAM and local stores as a self-published novel with new ISBN numbers, references to the original publisher removed and a re-designed front and back covers. The Adobe files, which allow the book to be printed on demand, is the raw material that will be altered and sent to the distributor/printer.
