As an innovative thinker, I require a proficient app developer to create a basic application for both iPhone and Android. The fundamental purpose of this app is to establish a seamless connection with a Bluetooth source (specifically, an esp32 sending sensor and pin status data) and store the received data in a local CSV file on the phone.
Key Feature Requirements:
- The app should function smoothly on both Android and iPhone platforms. (priority is android for now)
- Ability to connect over Bluetooth with an esp32 wroom module. The Bluetooth protocol may be either BLE or classic, as I am not entirely certain which one this module uses.
- Once connected, the app should be capable of receiving sensor and pin status data.
- The app should store this received data in a local CSV file on the mobile device for later access.
- A simple and functional user interface would fit best for this application. I do not need aesthetic elements or interactive features. - the data will be sent at intervals determined by the esp32 (either every 500-1000ms or when a promt is reached) so the app should either display the data in real time and allow saving .. or it could store in realtime if that doesnt cause an issue)
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in both Android and iOS app development
- A firm grasp of Bluetooth connection protocols, specifically BLE and SPP
- Prior experience in app development for data collection or sensor interaction would be a bonus.

android or iPhone app dev to create 'basic' app that connects to a Bluetooth source (will be an esp32 sending sensor and pin status data) over serial and then stores data received in local csv file on phone for access by user (through phones file system) .app can either record data in real time , or can buffer several lines and wait for 'save' command from user.
an app to use as reference would be any of the 'bluetooth serial monitor' or 'Serial Bluetooth Terminal' for android.
I need this within a week please.
this doesnt have to be polished. just functional. i will look to further the functionality (future work) if i find a reasonable and cost effective developer to work with.
I will require, if possible, not just the executable, but a copy of all xml/kt/java etc so that i can make basic tweaks myself if needed without having to go back and forth to dev. (for example, to fix spelling mistakes etc) .. however, in first instance, i will require video evidence of app working to rule out timewasters please.
