Hi,

I have a source (TEG - Peltier Module) of a very small outup voltage 0.3-0.8 V.

My target project: I need a board to input the 0.3-0.8 Volts of my

source (TEG) in order to charge a small Li-on Battery. I dont care about the time it would take for the full charge. I have found an IC that I think would do the job. LTC3105. That is because in its application description it has the following:

- Solar Powered Battery/Supercapacitor Chargers

- Energy Harvesting

- Remote Industrial Sensors

- Low Power Wireless Transmitters

- Cell Phone, MP3, PMP and GPS Accessory Chargers

Firstly please let me know if this is possible and then we can discuss in further detail.

That is a good choice,LTC3105 I have used for ambient light energy harvesting for indoors, there are some trick but it can generate from the lowest and widest range of voltage.

I think that LTC3105 is not a better choise for this task because it needs at least 225mV of input voltage. May be LTC3107 is better. It gives an opportunity to work at input voltage from 20 mV due to input transforme Další
