Developer needed for creating a platform to digitizing agriculture value chains

Developer should be able to create a platform that digitizes agriculture value chains. The following modules are recommended for implementation in the platform:

1. Farmer Enrolment

This module will facilitate enrolling farmer into the application. Information related to the farmer like personal information, socio-economic information, farm, and the crop details along with Georeference of the location is recorded. Farmer profile will also contain farmer photos, GPS coordinates etc.

2. Farm Enrolment

This module help profiling the farms. Multiple farms can be added for each farmer. The farm characteristics like soil, irrigation and land records are captured in this module.

3. Sowing

The module will help recording the sowing information of the farm, crop, variety, planting date, seed source, quantity etc. Estimated yield and date of harvest are derived based on the acreage and date of planting or crop cycle. This module will aid in mapping and determine the actual area of the crop planted on the farm. The plotting of area can be achieved either by walking around the field or using the google earth maps one can select the boundaries of the farm on the map.

4. Crop Harvest

This module helps manage the harvest information of the farmer, farm, crop, variety, grade, location and the date of harvest, and quantity harvested can be captured for each Farmer. This will give us the yield report for all the farmers in the application.

5. Procurement

This module facilitates the purchase of any agriculture produce in the field or at a collection point. Quality, quantity and price information is captured at the time of the procurement. Multiple procurement transactions can be performed in a single transaction with the option of generating on the spot receipt.

6. Product transfer

Movement of produce from the farm or collection centre to processing facility or retail stores/ central warehouse can be tracked along with the details of stock and its batch/lot numbers and others details.

7. Market Linkage

Market linkage platform is designed to connect buyers and sellers for trade. This platform is connected to the crop harvest and crop sale transactions of a farmer. Whenever a farmer harvests his produce the information related to crop, variety, grade, and quantity available is displayed on this platform.
