I'm looking to have a web app built and added as a page onto my Wordpress site. I'll describe the functionality. I can also send a drawing that may make it a little simpler to understand if needed.
Flashcards will contain a word and an image. Ideally, it'd be possible to add an extra textbox to the flashcards and move them around if the user wishes. There will also be several layouts available, both landscape and portrait, with different numbers of flashcards (sizes) included on each page. It should also be possible to remove either the text or image completely and change the font and font size. Additionally, it should be possible to add borders to each flashcard and users should be able to choose among several options.
There will be a box where users can type the words to be included in the flashcards. After each word, clicking enter will take them to a new line, which represents a new word. For each word added to the list, there will be an automatic google image search. The search will return the first result, as long as it fits a certain size image and automatically adds it to the flashcard. So, adding apple as the first word in the list will automatically search apple in google images and add it to the card, as long as the image isn't too small. It would need to be automatically resized so that the text and image both fit onto the card.
It should also be possible to upload a word list so users don't need to type each word in manually.
After choosing their settings and adding words, clicking enter will show them what their flashcards look like, including the automatically added images. Please write your favorite color in parentheses as the 10th word of your bid.
Users could then click on any flashcard and change the images if needed directly from here. So, if one page has four individual flashcards on it. Users should be able to click that page and edit any of those four images. By clicking the image they want to change, users will see more google image results for that word. From here, without leaving the page, they could click on a new image and it'd automatically replace the old image on the flashcard. They could also change the google image search query here too. Likewise, users could change the text and size here as well. Users will be able to make these changes to every flashcard and accompanying image from their word list.
Finally, when all images are correct, users will be able to print, download as a word file or pdf, and save to google drive.
In addition to the above features, it would also need to include a payment gateway. This would need a free trial or x number of flashcards free and then payment options. This would need user accounts, the ability to sign-in, etc.
