Ecommerce Stripe Payments back end integration with Javascript/HTML front end

We have built the front end of a site using Javascript/HTML and need to build the backend functionality for a shopping cart, checkout process, accept payments with Stripe then deliver digital downloads to customers.
- Backend integration of cart and checkout process within our existing front end
- Setup product SKUs with multiple attributes and multiple price tiers
- Primarily digital downloads with some physical goods.
While we believe Stripe has the required functionality to achieve the above and we would prefer to use just Stripe, we are open to looking at other solutions if they offer superior functionality or save cost.
A working example of the front end can be shown on request.
We are looking for a back end developer to work with our front end developer to deliver the above.
