I am looking to get an iPhone app created that will record audio and when done, upload the audio to our server through our API.
App will need the following three screens; (Basic Mockup is created and can be provided)
1. App login screen (Authentication through API)
2. Main screen
3. Settings screen
iOS requirements:
iPhone X or greater (We can discuss these)
Basic workflow:
1. User logs into app
2. User creates recording on main screen using the microphone on/off button to pause and resume as needed
3. User Uploads recording using the send button on app
4. If upload successful, Success Banner shows and recording is cleared from device, if fails, fail banner shows and returns to current recording.
Other requirements:
- Maximum upload size through API is 150MB so we need to determine what the max length of the file can be on iOS and enforce.
- On main screen, there is a progress slider which user can review and listen back prior to uploading and overwrite or insert if needed. There is also a current position and total length indicator on main page
- If there is a native recording class control in XCode for recording we can reuse that instead of redeveloping
- Mockup is a suggestion and can be adjusted as needed
- Login is persistent until user logs out.
- API documentation is available on Postman
- User cannot upload a 0 length job
- X on the main screen cancels current recording and deletes and clears values. Prompt should show for confirmation to user.
- The content in the Worktype field on the main page can be populated from API. Other user field (User field and Notes) are free form fields for user to fill in if needed.
Notes:
- On mockup main screen, there is an icon at the bottom (Middle of the three) that won't be implemented in this version.
