Laravel App Crashing when many users login

I have a laravel school information system which crashes when more than 300 users login in it. The issue might be the bell notification since the system is coded to check every 10 seconds to look for the notification or maybe the gps (since when the parents track bus that is the time it crashes but it is the time when maximum users are logged in so both the cases occur simultaneously that is bus tracking as well as maximum user login). I need someone to find out the issue and let my developer know the issue so that he can fix it. I will pay 50 USD per hr for this work.
