PhoneGap mobile application developer required. Your task will require good image manipulation skills and mobile device camera control knowledge. Application will create an image consisting of both a static template image combined with dynamic image taken by camera (or loaded from mobile device Gallery). Text will be added onto the image by the user in multiple input fields. Text typed should be drawn on template image around the circle in 4 places. Resulting image will be uploaded to server.
You should be able to implement interface allowing user to:
Rotate photo inside template using two control buttons (rotate left / rotate right)
Resize image inside template using typical mobile device two finger gestures: pinch out and pinch in.
Move image inside template using one finger dragging gesture.
Final image generated and sent to server should match the image user sees on his mobile device.
You can see attached image to have and idea what the final image will look like.
That is main and most important functionality. Besides that you will create a couple of other functions – like register account and login using Facebook, export final image on Facebook or Twitter, select location on Google Map. There will also be a social media element to the application which allows users to interact, search facilities so users can find posts from other users and find posts tagged to specific locations on a map. You should write text - “I used PhoneGap” - at the start of your bid so I can be sure you are actually reading description of the project. You will be working together with me as server side developer. So you will have all details and full help with server integration part of the project (it is pretty straight forward anyway – you will need to exchange authentification token with server and send image data to a server via POST request together with the users inputed text.) Project will be split in parts. Each part will have milestone assigned to it. Milestone release conditions will be discussed further with a developer I will choose.
PLEASE NOTE. ALL of that functionality already exists and IS implemented on our site using dynamic HTML, HTML5 canvas and jQuery/JavaScript kineticJS library. As I understand all of this can be ported to PhoneGap relatively easy. I am just a bit concerned about a couple of camera manipulation questions we will discuss further. We have all images and templates ready. We have all server side processing ready. We have all functions that are drawing text along the curve. All of that is tested, debugged and works well. This already works in browsers of Android and iOS devices. We simply want separate mobile application for this.
This will make your task much easier, please keep this in mind when making quotation.
