I want a WPF/vb.net utility that can start/stop a service installed on a remote windows host using sc \\hostname stop service_name or any other better method.
The utility should provide a groups of checkboxes to select the required hostnames where the service should be started / stopped and these checkboxes should pickup hostnames from a ini or cfg file. there should also be a button , which when clicked will delete a particular directory and all its contents from the selected hostname(s). This particular directory or pathname should also be configurable from the same CFG file which will be used for hostnames. There should be logging of activities that a user performs with this utility which should store the below information -> which windows user had logged on to system and which servers were selected and which activity was performed along with the time stamps. I have created the basic expected layout in Visual Studio and image is attached for reference.
