I want to create a simple text based rugby game for PC.
I would like to be able to input historic results between two teams (for example, New Zealand v Australia) and then have the game simulate outcomes based on that historic data.
I would also like to be able to skew results (weaken or strengthen a team) based on a things like a high level of injuries, home or away team etc.
Over time I would like to work with the freelancer to develop this game further by inputting the team names and simulating the points scorers in each game based on the actual likelihood of that player scoring.
I do not necessarily have an idea for the layout of the game, but I should be able to add team names. I would also like to be able to create a database of venues and select a venue for each match that I simulate.
