106720 Convert Web pgs, html to php

I have a large number of html website files, where I want to do this: (1) convert the html to be saved as php web files, and (2) add two lines to the page, a [url removed, login to view]

and a header.php.

A college student wrote up a script to do this, but he was unable to complete the project and do the actual conversion. I dont know php enough to run the script and get it going. I tried, but no luck with it.

Also, I want the programmer to look at our template for new web pages, and then from that create the actual [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] using the website template page.

(It looks like if we just take the html code from the template, divide it in half at the "insert here" point, then this will be the header and footer pages).

The script will use the list of file names (provided as a text file), open each html file, add the two lines, then save it as a php file. The new php files will be saved in a subfolder.

This should be an easy job that you can bang out quickly enough. The zip file has the script that the student wrote, as well as a more detailed project description.
