58548 Search feature for folders

I have a script that pulls the contents of the folder and displays it to users based on thier permission level. A user might see all the folders or only that folders that I can select for them. Essentially, this 'folder emulation' script pulls the contents from directory based on permissions (see attachment 1) Now, I need a search tool that needs to be built in the users home directory (this is the page they see after login - see attachment 2 - they will click the 'share point directory' to see thier listing). This search tool will just search the folder that they have permission and provide them with search results as hyperlink. Please be aware that the contents in the directory can be anything (word, excel, ppt etc etc) & the "FULL TEXT" seach should work for all file types. It is more like EMULATION of the "containing text' feature of windows file and folders search function. Specification: 1. Should carry forward or integrate with permission level already set. The search should search only the folder that the user has permissions for. 2. Should provide the results in hyperlink 3. Its a full text search 4. The search bar must be built in the users home page after login ( I can give the link after project accpetance) OK..I have received some mails for clarification about my servers... 1.
