Activex Library AxAcroPDFLib Issue

We are having problems with AxAcroPDFLib when trying to open bookmark

Our process is as follows

We use windows activex library AxAcroPDFLib to show a pdf in our C# form. The bookmarks in that pdf have been linked to open a file which is situated at the same level as of the pdf,but the file fails to open with an error message from the adobe pdf plugin saying it could not find the path. We use relative path since the file is in the same level.

All this works fine if we use the Adobe pdf reader to open that file but does not work in the adobe activex plugin.

This is not due to a programming error but due to us not being able to control the Activex component's functions and also not being able to find out the path that it is seeking on an onclick event.

Just to let you know, the bookmark thing is just an example, we are unable to excute anything that has links in our pdf including exe's swf etc etc.
