We need a quote for a company to provide the following:
OVERVIEW
1) Design a very web 2.0+ social media driven site + Apple App
2) Build the coding which allows a user to register via the App or the website and set their email and App driven notification preferences based on a simple category section.
3) Build a scraper which harvests certain data from websites. The scraper will need to be manually configured on a "per site" basis. You will need to be able to provide staff to provide ongoing support to set up each site to scrape and subsequently maintain the scraper for each site. The scraper will need to "alert" the scraper-manager to let them know if a scheduled scrape has failed
4) The consumer receives a notification via email and or via the App which contains the information about the free "xyz" from the category they provisioned together with a link back to the page on the site where it can be found.
PROVISIONING
1) They will need to be able to provision based on a) category and b) frequency of message and c) method of delivery (App or email)
SOCIAL INTERACTION AND DESIGN
1) The site and App should be build with full social sharing facilities including Google+, FB, Twitter as well as other core social share functions. Your suggestion need to be outlined on your design
APP
1) We will require an App so you must have an Apple Developers License as you will be responsible for getting the App listed in the store
2) You will need to register the app name for us - which we will own
3) The App needs to have the same functionality as the website plus also the ability for users to receive a notification via the App
DATA REGISTRATION
1) When a user registers, they need to receive a confirmation email to activate their account and also the registered user must be stored in the local DB of the site as well as send in real time through to a separate destination
