Summary of Duties:
I am looking for a web developer(s) to create a full website with SEO in mind. I am looking for coders, front end and back end programmers, graphic people, or any other web professionals! I am looking to launch a new social networking website similar to XANGA. All members of the community can post and share information - inclusive of live chat rooms, blogs, videos, music, photos, geo features and voice posting and downloads. It must also have a mobile compatibility application, for instant posting on the go.
It needs integration of a flickr and facebook account. It should also include a blog part. Preferably written in php.
Ideally, you must have a solid background in php, python, ruby on rails, Jquery, css etc all to W3C standards.
High level top functionalities include :
Front End Account management:
- create profile
- add pics
- profile privacy options (password protected pictures)
- search member
- add member
- send messages to members
- search
- facebook, flickr connect
- news feed
- geo features
- html graphics
Back End:
Event Handler
Allows administrators to add new events, user settings, and features (such as news feed)
Modification of text:
All of the web must be edited from the back end
Technical requirements:
Python/Django
Ruby on Rails
Php MVC (ZendFramework, CakePHP)
Mysql
WORK EXPECTED: (2-4 Months)
- develop all back end functionalities
- take full responsibility for creating front-end of website with basic design
- build database in a way that could be accessed by an iPhone App
- set up website with my hosting company so that it works in an optimal way
Based on initial contacts through this website, I will select 2-3 potential contractors with whom I'll go into more details about website specifications.
This assignment could lead to future work.
Further project details will be provided to the winning bidder.
