Integration for JomSocial and Post Affiliate Pro.

We are running JomSocial 2.4.2 on Joomla 1.5.25. We also have the latest version (0.14.6 omega) of the AEC subscription component ([url removed, login to view]) installed.

We also have the Post Affiliate Pro ("PAP") affiliate tracking software installed on our server. (See [url removed, login to view])

We are using JomSocial and AEC to handle registration and subscription to our site, and the PAP software to register and manage our affiliate campaigns.

There is a plugin created by the PAP softwar that can be found here : [url removed, login to view]

The above plugin will allow Joomla to handle the user registration and automatically register the user into PAP.

We downloaded, installed and configured the plugin--it only requires two parameters. However, the plugin seems to conflict with the JomSocial registration.

On the first try after installing, we got a 500 error so we changed the order of execution of the plugin to last position using the Joomla plugin manager.

Then, it simply froze after the registration information was submitted to JomSocial and gave us a blank page with following the URL:

http://[main site URL]/[url removed, login to view]

Because we also had installed the AEC component, we uninstalled it to see if AEC was the cause of the problem, but the problem still continued after unistalling AEC.

Therefore, we concluded that the incompatibility problem seems to lie within JomSocial and the plugin.

Lastly, we upgraded JomSocial to version 2.4.2 to make sure we had the latest version, but the problem continued in spite of it.

However, when we disabled the PAP registration plugin, the problem disappeared.

We have since reinstalled the AEC component again and AEC seems to work fine with JomSocial.

So, your job would be to make the above PAP plugin work with our Joomla and Jomsocial installation. Besides, correcting the problem, we would like you to tell us what the cause of the problem was and how to correct it or prevent it in the future.

Note: Yes, we know that there is supposed to be a micro-integration for AEC and PAP within the latest version of AEC. We have the latest AEC and this micro-integration already installed; however, it does not seem to provide the functionality that we require. We need to be able to:

1. Register our users using JomSocial;

2. Have them pay their registration fees using AEC; and

3. Use the above AEC Plugin to automatically register the users into PAP, once their dues are paid.

We would like to have this problem solved within the next couple of days.
