548603 Script To Extract Website Products and Transfer to Magento

I have a large website with thousands of products. I am looking at someone to be able to write a script, if possible, to be able to extract info from our website (product description, title, images, price, etc.) and put into Magento or another shopping cart. I don't need a payment processor. (We manually process our credit cards.) I don't like osCommerce, either. I want a shopping cart that is very search engine friendly where meta tags can be used. I don't necessarily need to have 'all the bells and whistles' that a lot of shopping carts have. Just need it to be simple, functional and secure. Current cart is in html - not php - and was created by CartIt. I am open for suggestions as to what shopping cart to use to accomplish this.

I do have products from another site designed in osCommerce that could possibly be used as the transfer database if that may be easier. Let me know.
