Prestashop Megamenu

Introduction:

Customers like to use online shops quickly and efficiently and the biggest tool to that end is a website’s primary menu. For this purpose we have selected a type of menu known as MegaMenu to be our primary menu system. MegaMenu’s are content and data rich and allow customers to seek out a website’s content and products extremely quickly in comparison to their simpler cousins; dropdown menus.

Problem Statement:

We are currently using a MegaMenu by PrestaShop developer, IqitEcommerce. Although a fine and very able menu module; it doesn’t allow us to easily replicate the MegaMenu structures as seen on some of our leading competitors; for example ZooPlus.co.uk.
