I am in need of someone to do a few edits on an open source Javascript NES emulator which can be found here: [login to view URL]
Here's what I need it to do for me:
1. Instead of selecting a ROM from a drop down menu, I want the page to automatically load a specified ROM (via HTML)
2. I want to be able to send colors on the screen to a PHP script. The colors will be based on X Y coordinates. For example, in HTML you may have parameters set for "10, 20" which will send the pixel color of pixel x10y20 to a PHP script. This should send every 3 seconds. I will need a couple of possible pixels being sent so I can add the rest.
Basically, I am going to use this to determine the current score of a game. I can look at colors on the screen to determine which score numbers are being represented. Most of these games have white numbers over a black background. Based on which pixels are white can let me know what the score is. I don't need help with calculating that. I merely need the pixel colors sent to a PHP script.
3. I need some other data that can be sent to the PHP script. For example, a user name somewhere embedded onto the web page which can be sent along with the pixel color data to the PHP script.
The data could read something like: Johnny:123:145 (name, pixel index color 1, pixel index color 2). RGB is also fine if you can get that.
