The app will service closed groups of members. It is made to make organizing and connecting people within the group easier in a secure environment. It is the goal to replace many media channels that are used for communication (email, whatsapp, intranet, Instagram, sms etc.) with only one channel.
Some general requirements that apply to all functions:
- data must be private, closed group
- the app should be able to service X number of unconnected user groups simultaneously
- it should be possible to make every function within the app visible to other user groups using the same app without showing all details (admin controlled)
- generally, the functions should be flexible for extensions later on (more users, larger profiles, more complex admin requirements, integration of shops etc.)
- the app should also be flexible to reflect needs of different users (within certain boundaries)
- the chat function can be sourced externally (e.g. google) as long at the data is secure to the level of Whatsapp at least
Specific functions listed below: Each function represents a separate requirement which we would like to see a price tag for.
1. Chat function - various chats by topic to choose from (possibly integrated from a third provider like google)
2. Calendar function - (connected content from Profiles etc.)
3. Directory Users – basic info of members of the closed user group based on their profiles
4. User Profiles - of users potentially connected to Calendar function and other app functions
5. Web shop - Integration of existing shops visible in single interface as well as creation of app-owned web shop
6. Directory Service Providers - listing of service providers that can be ranked and commented on by the users of the app
7. News Feed - social media (facebook) like news function where everyone can post
8. Social Media posting – Choice of simultaneous posting to other media channels (e.g. FB, Insta etc.)
9. Photo Folder – photo upload for everyone to access
10. Survey / Feedback – simple survey function & Feedback channel
