Portfolio Slider in Sync with Portfolio Posts

WORDPRESS PORTFOLIO WITH SLIDER

We have portfolio slider on a portfolio page that we need to use as a sub-navigation between portfolio posts. So user can view a portfolio item and move between the portfolio posts by selecting the thumbnail on the slider.

The slider MUST remain in position and not go to the start of the slider again as it loads the new portfolio item, The portfolio item they are looking at should correspond to the portfolio thumbnail in the slider, so not user is aware where they are in the slider - which thumbnail/item they are looking at.

At the moment the slider goes back to the start on each load of a new portfolio item,.

SLIDER FIX

To keep the slider in position related to the post the user is on.

So if you are looking at a particular portfolio item - for the portfolio slider position to remain in place and not slide back to the beginning of the slider. The portfolio item being viewed should also be highlight and not hidden so user can understand which item they are currently looking at in the slider view.

I am using Avada theme.

Slide should not hide the current portfolio item and to highlight it rather so user know then are looking at that particular piece in the slider view.
