Issues in Ruby App (Ruby, Puma, MongoDB)

I am experiencing below issues with my Ruby App:

1) Some Requests take long to respond, and by analyzing the log it seems it takes a while until the puma worker starts working. The code itself that it runs is pretty fast, the calls to db are also fast. It seems it takes a long time between making request and running the first line of code of the method called

# I tried setting PUMA config for workers to startup up before being called, but it didn't work.

2) I have an extra production server (appnew_server) that connects to main server mongodb (app_server) which is located in a different server, which is made by the internet, however it seems to always be dropping and getting timeout. It works well right after restart but after a few minutes the requests hangs and it seems we get timeout.

# I tried changing Keep alive TCP connection time, but it didn't work.
