SEO Consultant Recruitment Brief
Objective: We are seeking an SEO consultant to address and resolve ranking drops for key search terms specifically within 10 targeted dental marketing accounts.
Primary Issue: Our core keywords, 'dentist' and 'dentist near me', have experienced significant and unexplained ranking drops from the first page to below the top 50 in these 10 specific accounts, while other tracked terms in these accounts remain stable. The consultant will be tasked with diagnosing the causes of these drops and developing solutions to regain and maintain high rankings.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience: Proven track record with SEO in competitive niches, with a preference for experience in healthcare or similar industries.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve sudden drops in search engine rankings, particularly within specified accounts.
Case Studies: Must be able to provide examples where they have successfully addressed similar SEO challenges.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to update and refine SEO strategies based on current standards and best practices.
Project Phases:
Diagnosis and Strategy Development: Initially, the consultant will identify the root causes of ranking issues in the specified accounts and propose actionable solutions.
Execution and Adjustment: Implement strategies to recover and sustain rankings for these accounts.
Long-Term Collaboration: Potential for extended engagement to continually refine SEO practices and address any future issues across our broader client base.
Selection Process:
Candidates will first discuss a similar SEO challenge they have managed, focusing on their diagnostic and problem-solving approach.
Selected candidates will then enter a trial phase addressing our Top 10 Mysterious Drops within the specified accounts.
Successful candidates may be offered a longer-term role to help evolve our SEO efforts.
Part of narrowing down the candidates will be a review of three sites that have performed in the past that no longer do. The candidates that come up with real world solutions that work will have a chance at more opportunities with monthly pay. And we will pay them for their time on the intro project.
Looking for candidates that can demonstrate not only technical expertise but also a strategic and methodical approach to managing SEO challenges in specific client contexts.
