This job is for a highly skilled and experienced web developer that specializes in web security.
The software is web-based with a database back-end. You will be provided with a login account for our test environment and your challenge will be use any method you can to obtain data from the system that should be inaccessible to you.
I require a proposal that briefly outlines the methods you would consider using, bearing in mind that it is a web application.
At the end of the exercise I will require a list of the methods you used (ie: the things you tested) as well as details of any vulnerabilities discovered and any data successfully obtained. The milestone payment will be released when this report is received.
If any vulnerabilities are discovered, additional testing work may be requested and additional payment provided.
