Custom Access database that is calculating some numbers and storing them in the database before previewing a report. We are getting errors when doing an .Edit or even when creating an update SQL statement. It is only a few lines of code that need to be fixed. We have had two professionals already look at it and are unable to fix it so someone with very hight Access and Visual Basic skills are needed. Should only take a few minutes to fix. Right now it is producing an error of "Invalid Operation" which runs fine as a query. Do a good and fast job and there may be more work to come. We are out til Monday but would like to wake up Monday and pick a provider and have it fixed by the end of the day or Tuesday morning.
Code segment
SQL3 = "UPDATE Operations SET OptionDepositCredit = " & tmpOptionDepositCredit & ", OriginalOptionDeposit = " & tmpOriginalOptionDeposit & ", RemainingOptionDeposit = " & tmpRemainingOptionDeposit & _
" WHERE ((([Fund #])= '" & CurFund & "') AND (([login to view URL])= '" & CurPeriod & "'))"
Set db3 = CurrentDb
Set rs3 = [login to view URL](SQL3) '<- fails here
Set rs3 = Nothing
Set rs3 = Nothing
