Project 1507: WordPress/WooCommerce - Bulk Product Import (Variable Products) -- 2

OVERVIEW

Custom Hobby Decals is a 'Trading As' name for DecalBiz Pty Ltd, a new start-up business, and has its own separate website ([url removed, login to view]) relating to Decals for Hobbyists.

The website operates on WordPress / WooCommerce.

NOTE:

Do ***NOT*** submit a Response to this RFQ **unless** you have existing and verifiable experience in the bulk uploading of products with variable attributes to a WooCommerce website.

Products to be uploaded may have:

- NO variable attributes

- ONE variable attribute (eg Colour)

- TWO variable attributes (eg Colour and Scale)

- THREE variable attributes (eg Colour, Scale and Media)

AIM

The aim of this Project is to:

- obtain a customised template spreadsheet for the bulk uploading of products with variable attributes;

- uploading and configuration of an initial group of products;

- advice, assistance and training on the use of the template spreadsheet so that thereafter such operations can be carried out internally on an ad-hoc basis;

The CHD website currently operates on WordPress / WooCommerce and has a number of Plug-ins already installed and active. Some of these include 'WP Easy Uploader', 'WP All Import Pro', 'WP All Import - WooCommerce Import Pro'.

We have a limited range of products that have previously been uploaded and configured, including a number of products with one variable attribute.

We now have an ongoing and increasing range of products that we need to bulk import to WP/WC. Many product image files have already been uploaded to the WP Server.

- A number of these products overlap with the existing products.

- A number of these products have one variable attribute (eg Colour)

- A number of these products have more than one variable attribute (eg Colour and Media Type and Scale)

- Each product (including each version of variable products) has a unique SKU.

A secondary area for consideration / discussion / advice is the importing and/or configuration of products that will appear on the website under more than one Category.

We have very limited experience in the import and configuration of products. We therefore require an *experienced* and *competent* freelancer that can:

(a) provide a suitably configured spreadsheet (.xlxs) for bulk import of products to WooCommerce - including both unique and variable attribute products;

(b) provide initial bulk import and configuration of products

(This may include changes to existing Categories configured on the website);

(c) provide training and feedback such that we can internally undertake the future bulk import of products - including both unique and variable products - on an ongoing ad-hoc basis (ie as and when required);

- MILESTONE #1 will cover advice and assistance in correctly setting-up the import spreadsheet;

- MILESTONE #2 will cover the bulk importing of a specific number or range of products (including variable products) + advice / training on importing;

- MILESTONES #3+ will cover configuring products for more than one Primary Category.

An Estimate of time required for each Milestone will be required before proceeding with a Milestone.
