What are dormant fees?
Creating and keeping an account on Freelancer.com are free. However, if you have not logged in for six months, and your account still holds funds or still has a linked funding source, you will incur a maintenance fee or a dormant fee of up to 14 USD per month until the account is terminated or until you log back in.
Dormant fees are charged for storage, bandwidth, support and management costs of providing hosting of the user's profile, portfolio storage, listing in directories, provision of the Hire Me service, file storage and message storage.
